**Job Summary**:
The Pharmacist Aide will assist licensed pharmacists in the preparation, distribution, and inventory of medications. They will help maintain the pharmacy's day-to-day operations and ensure timely and accurate support for both patients and staff, while adhering to healthcare regulations and hospital policies.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications.
- Accurately label and package prescribed medicines.
- Maintain stock of medications and supplies; assist in inventory management.
- Ensure proper storage of pharmaceuticals as per guidelines.
- Receive and arrange medicines and supplies as per storage protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the pharmacy area.
- Assist in documentation and record-keeping tasks.
- Help answer basic patient inquiries and refer clinical questions to the pharmacist.
- Comply with all safety, hygiene, and regulatory guidelines.
- Perform other support tasks as assigned by the pharmacist or supervisor.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Minimum: 10+2 or equivalent qualification; D.Pharm preferred.
- Previous experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of medicines and medical terminology.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and organizational ability.
- Ability to work in a team and under supervision.
