**Job Summary**:
The Chinese Chef is responsible for preparing and cooking authentic Chinese dishes while maintaining consistency, quality, and presentation. This role involves creating flavorful dishes from various Chinese cuisines, ensuring customer satisfaction, and adhering to the restaurant's high standards of food safety and hygiene.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Food Preparation & Cooking**:
- Prepare a wide range of Chinese dishes, including appetizers, soups, main courses, stir-fried items, noodles, and rice dishes.
- Use traditional cooking techniques such as wok-frying, steaming, braising, and roasting.
- Ensure consistency in flavor, portioning, and presentation across all dishes.
- **Menu Development**:
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop and update the Chinese menu, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- Innovate and introduce signature dishes to attract customers.
- **Quality Control**:
- Monitor the quality of raw materials and finished dishes to maintain high standards.
- Conduct regular tastings to ensure flavor profiles meet the restaurant's expectations.
- **Team Collaboration**:
- Work closely with other chefs and kitchen staff to coordinate orders and ensure timely service.
- Train and guide junior chefs or kitchen assistants in Chinese cooking techniques.
- **Inventory Management**:
- Manage the stock of Chinese spices, sauces, and ingredients, ensuring timely replenishment.
- Minimize waste by optimizing ingredient usage and portion control.
- **Hygiene & Safety**:
- Follow and enforce food safety and hygiene practices, adhering to FSSAI standards.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the Chinese cooking station and equipment.
Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
**Education**:
- Higher Secondary(12th Pass) (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Chef: 1 year (preferred)
