**Job Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**

1. **Shift & Workflow Management**
- Develop and follow shift schedules to ensure full CNC machine coverage.
- Plan and prioritize daily machining activities based on job urgency and production deadlines.

2. **On-Floor Leadership & Training**
- Guide and brief CNC operators on job specifics and requirements.
- Provide hands-on training and demonstrations for proper machine handling and safety practices.
- Mentor junior operators to ensure process consistency and adherence to quality standards.

3. **Machine & Tool Setup**
- Perform accurate machine setup including tool selection, fixture placement, offset settings, and program loading.
- Ensure proper alignment, clamping, and calibration of machines before production begins.

4. **CNC Operation & Monitoring**
- Operate CNC milling and turning centers following engineering drawings and pre-programmed instructions.
- Monitor machine behavior during production and make real-time edits or adjustments to optimize output.
- Debug programs and troubleshoot basic machine or process issues as they arise.

5. **Quality Assurance**
- Inspect machined parts using precision tools such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Ensure parts meet dimensional tolerances and customer specifications.
- Adjust machine parameters or offsets based on inspection feedback.

6. **Maintenance & Continuous Improvement**
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and ensure machines remain clean and operational.
- Adhere to 5S housekeeping standards to promote safety and efficiency.
- Participate in lean manufacturing and process improvement initiatives to minimize waste and downtime.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum educational qualification**:ITI** in Mechanical or relevant trade.
- Minimum **1 year of relevant CNC operating experience** (preferred in plastic molding/toolroom settings).
