**Job Title**:Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

**Job Location**:Pune / Mumbai (India)

**Reporting To**: CEO

**Job Brief**:
We are currently looking for a **Chief Technology Officer** (CTO) with a proactive can do attitude **for providing sound technical leadership in all aspects of our business.** You will be communicating with an interdisciplinary team of biologist, data scientists, product team, engineers, IT team, stakeholders and customers to ensure our company’s technologies are used appropriately to its full scope / extent.

**Strong business acumen and strategic thinking are the key essentials for this role.** We expect you to be well-equipped with current technological trends and familiar with a variety of business concepts. You should also be an excellent communicator and public speaker.

Someone having a very strong background of software development field and who is having product development mind set is what we are aiming at. If you possess all these skills as mentioned above and below then we would be happy to connect with you.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop technical aspects of the company’s strategy to ensure that they are aligned with its business goals.
- Discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage.
- Supervise system infrastructure to ensure its smooth functioning and to bring optimum efficiency.
- Build quality assurance processes.
- Build data protection processes.
- Monitor IT budgets and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to assess technological performance.
- Use stakeholder’s feedback to make necessary improvements and adjustments to technology.
- Communicate technology strategy to investors and business partners.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a CTO or similar leadership role.
- Knowledge of technological trends to build strategy.
- Understanding of budgets and business planning.
- Ability to conduct technological analyses and research.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Leadership and organizational abilities.
- Strategic thinking.
- Problem solving aptitude.
- B.Sc. / BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field; MBA or other relevant professional degree would be a plus. (IIT Graduates / Someone holding US experience would be preferred but not a mandate)
- **In short, we want someone who has hands on experience for product development field, someone who loves writing codes, someone who has hands on experience on full stack development viz. UI, Business Object Layer, Persistence Layer (databases, structured, semi-structure, unstructured), someone who has opened APIs and who has exposure of cloud and AI development.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

**Salary**: ₹150,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per month
