L'Oréal Research & Innovation is seeking a highly motivated and organized Science & Communication Intern to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will gain valuable experience in scientific communication, project management, and event coordination, contributing directly to the success of our R&I initiatives, internal and external communication campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
**Scientific Communication & Knowledge Management**:

- Synthesize complex scientific information on key innovation territories, identifying knowledge gaps and potential research areas.
- Collaborate with internal teams to prepare drafts of scientific publications, ensuring accuracy and clarity for diverse audiences.
- Support the onboarding process for medical writers and coordinate manuscript reviews between internal teams and external agencies.
- Coordinate scientific engagement activities within R&I, internal and external stakeholders.

Project Management & Event Coordination
- Assist in the strategy and planning of R&I presence at dermatology events, conferences, and congresses and post event amplification of activities to internal and external audiences.
- Manage projects related to internal and external events, including research grants, brand events, and contribute to corporate affairs & engagement (CA&E) activities.
- Coordinate logistics, prepare materials, and ensure smooth execution of events.

Collaboration & External Partnerships
- Facilitate collaborations with expert partners, including dermatologists, to advance research initiatives.
- Manage communication channels and coordinate project timelines to ensure successful partnerships.

Profile & Qualifications
- Have a post-graduate qualification scientific field (biology, biochemistry, biomedical sciences, or related field).
- Strong understanding of scientific principles, communication and project management.
- Proven scientific publication record in peer-reviewed journals
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with a strong ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
