**Scientific Editor Job Description**

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to join our team as a scientific editor. The responsibilities of the scientific editor include reviewing the work of the scientific writers, and writing articles and content as and when required.

To be a successful technical editor, you should have detailed knowledge of a variety of scientific topics as well as experience with our editorial guidelines. Ultimately, a top-notch scientific editor has excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and page composition skills.

Scientific Editor Responsibilities:

- Working with researchers and developers to ensure document accuracy.
- Reviewing written scientific documents for clarity, grammar, spelling, punctuation, content, and style.
- Making any necessary corrections to the said reports and documents.
- Giving feedback and advice to the team or content writers.
- Ensuring that all written content meets our company's standards.
- Developing, communicating, and adhering to goals for content, workflow, and aim of writing.
- Conducting quality assurance on all printed documents, including blogs, brochures, advertisements, newsletters, marketing materials, reports, websites, etc.
- Conforming to strict editing guidelines plagiarism and security clearance protocols.

Technical Editor Requirements:

- Degree in B.pharm/ M. Pharm, English, applied science or another related field.
- A Master's degree may be advantageous.
- Proven experience as a scientific writer and in working with a variety of style guides.
- In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical concepts.
- Excellent computer and word processing skills.
- Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and page composition skills
- Ability to adhere to deadlines and handle pressure.
- Strong attention to detail.

**Salary**: ₹11,192.55 - ₹45,594.96 per month
