Specific roles and responsibilities

The primary objective of the Young Professional for Individual Giving is to support the fundraising team in identifying, engaging, and nurturing individual donors. The role involves assisting with campaign development, donor communications, donor data management, and event planning to help increase the organization’s revenue through individual donations.
- Donor Identification and Engagement:

- Research and identify potential individual donors, including high-net-worth individuals, community members, and small donors.
- Assist in developing personalized outreach strategies to engage potential donors.

Support donor cultivation by maintaining regular communication, providing updates, and nurturing relationships.

Campaign Support:

- Assist in the planning and execution of individual giving campaigns, including online fundraising, annual appeals, and peer-to-peer fundraising initiatives.
- Monitor the progress of campaigns and prepare reports on their effectiveness and reach.
- Donor Communication and Stewardship:

- Support the creation and implementation of a donor stewardship plan, ensuring timely acknowledgment of all contributions.
- Draft thank-you letters, impact reports, and other donor-centric communication to maintain a positive relationship with donors.
- Contribute to newsletters and other content aimed at keeping individual donors informed and engaged.
- Database Management:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of individual donors and donations within the organization’s CRM system or donor database.
- Track donor interactions, update contact information, and segment donors based on giving levels and engagement.
- Event Coordination:

- Assist in the planning and execution of donor-related events, such as fundraising galas, donor appreciation events, or informational sessions.
- Coordinate logistics, send invitations, and follow up with attendees.
- Support event-day activities and post-event evaluations.

Deliverables
- Monthly reports detailing individual giving activities, campaign performance, and donor engagement metrics.
- Updated and accurate donor records within the CRM or donor management system.
- Successfully coordinated individual giving campaigns with measurable outcomes.
- Well-executed donor-related events with positive feedback from attendees.
- Creation of high-quality donor communication materials.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Nonprofit Management, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated interest in nonprofit work, fundraising, donor relations, or social impact. Internships, volunteer work, or project experience in these areas are advantageous but not required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear and engaging messages.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and a willingness to learn CRM systems or donor databases.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team

environment.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude.
- Eagerness to learn and develop skills in fundraising, donor engagement, and event coordination.

Performance Evaluation

The Young Professional for Individual Giving will be evaluated based on:

- Achievement of individual giving targets and growth of the donor base.
- Quality and timeliness of donor communications and engagement efforts.
- Accuracy of donor data and database management.
- Contributions to successful individual giving campaigns and events.
- Positive feedback from donors and the fundraising team.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
