ob Description: Administrative Assistant - Restaurant and Hotel Industry

Position Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Support:
Manage schedules, appointments, and calendars for managers and executives.

Prepare and distribute correspondence, reports, and other documents as needed.

Maintain organized filing systems (physical and digital) for easy access to records.

Guest Relations:
Handle guest inquiries, complaints, or feedback professionally and escalate issues when necessary.

Assist with reservations, bookings, and special event coordination.

Office Coordination:
Oversee office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary.

Coordinate with vendors for equipment maintenance, repairs, and services.

Assist in onboarding new hires by preparing documents and ensuring smooth orientation.

Financial Tasks:
Assist with invoice processing, expense reports, and basic bookkeeping tasks.

Track and reconcile petty cash expenses.

Event and Operations Support:
Support event planning, ensuring all logistics are in place.

Collaborate with department heads to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Compliance and Record Keeping:
Ensure all licenses, permits, and certifications are up to date.

Maintain employee records in compliance with company policies and regulations.

Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality or restaurant industry.

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with hospitality management software.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities.

Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of hotel and restaurant operations is a plus.

Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems or hotel management software.

Basic accounting knowledge.
