Product Owner - Merchant Payment Solutions - Reconciliation, collecting, funding and credit risk monitoring

**Role Description**

To strengthen its position as a provider of innovative payment solutions, the Deutsche Bank’ Merchant Solutions Product team is developing solutions to collect on behalf of merchants, payments from buyers through a very broad range of payment methods (card payments, direct debits, credit transfers, PayPal, Klarna, Sofort, Google Pay, Apple Pay and many more). You will be the product owner of a development squad focusing on collecting, managing and reconciling the data and money flows for each of these payment methods, including the development of funding and credit risk monitoring.

**Your key responsibilities**
- Develop a product vision, requirements and roadmap for merchant payment methods reconciliation, collecting, funding and credit risk monitoring
- Work closely with the end user / internal clients to plan and prioritize in line with expectation and needs. Assess value, develop benefit cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value
- Work closely with Squad members to develop technical solutions in line with priorities
- Lead the planning product release plans and set expectation for delivery of new functionalities
- Act as a leader, instilling confidence to the overall squad and being front-runner and example for the whole team
- Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals
- Development of professional working relationships with various stakeholder groups (Business, Technology, External Vendors) across all seniority levels

**Your skills and experience**
- Several years of relevant experience in at least one of the following areas: the online payment industry, integration of merchant payment methods (card payments, direct debits, credit transfers, PayPal, Klarna, Sofort, Google Pay, Apple Pay,), reconciliation services, credit risk management
- Hands-on experience with SCRUM or other agile development methods
- You have a team-oriented and flexible work style
- Ability to handle the day to day ‘hands-on’ management of tasks, resolve problems and issues, and implement action plans to meet objectives.
- Fluent in English.
