Job Summary
A Sales Executive in a banking company is responsible for acquiring new customers and increasing the bank's market share by actively promoting various banking products and services. They work closely with potential and existing customers to understand their financial needs and provide tailored solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- **Customer Acquisition**:
- Identify and target potential customers through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Conduct effective sales presentations to showcase the bank's products and services.
- Negotiate terms and conditions to close deals and secure new business.
- **Customer Relationship Management**:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to foster loyalty and encourage repeat business.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving complaints promptly.
- **Sales Target Achievement**:
- Consistently achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Track and analyze sales performance to identify areas for improvement.
- **Market Research**:
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to develop effective sales strategies.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities.
- **Product Knowledge**:
- Possess a deep understanding of the bank's product offerings, including savings accounts, current accounts, loans, credit cards, and investment products.
- Stay informed about product features, benefits, and eligibility criteria.
- **Compliance Adherence**:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant banking regulations and guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- **Excellent Communication Skills**: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers and build rapport.
- **Sales and Negotiation Skills**: Proven ability to persuade and negotiate with customers to close deals.
- **Customer Service Orientation**: A commitment to providing exceptional customer service and building long-lasting relationships.
- **Market Knowledge**: Understanding of the banking industry, market trends, and competitor activities.
- **Problem-Solving Skills**: Ability to analyze customer needs, identify solutions, and overcome objections.
- **Time Management Skills**: Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- **Teamwork**: Ability to collaborate with colleagues and work as part of a team.
- **Bachelor's Degree**: A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- **Experience**: Previous experience in sales, preferably in the banking or financial services industry, is advantageous.
By effectively fulfilling these responsibilities and possessing the required skills, a Sales Executive can contribute significantly to the growth and success of a banking company.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
