Required Technical and Professional Experience
- Over 12 years of experience in Mainframe Application Modernization
- Strong background in mainframe technologies (COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, VSAM & others).
- Design modernization paths from legacy systems (COBOL, z/OS, etc.) to modern stacks (Java, microservices, cloud).
- Create reference architectures, solution designs, and blueprints for modernization.
- Evaluate and recommend tools for code transformation (e.g., Micro Focus, Blu Age, Astadia, AWS Mainframe Modernization service).
- Strong client communication, technical documentation, and stakeholder alignment skills.
- Define APIs and microservices strategy for decoupling legacy systems.
- Provide architectural oversight during execution to ensure value realization.Collaborate on pre-sales engagements including assessments, proposals, orals, and business case creation.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience- The Open Group - Master Certified Architect (or equivalent)- Prior hands-on experience working in a Mainframe environment- Experience in the following types of Mainframe projects - Modernize On, Integrate With and Move Off- Strong understanding of z/OS and IBM Software Products as well as 3rd party Mainframe software
