**Job Description - Production Planner**

Production Planner is responsible for coordinate with key suppliers, monitor KPI’s for suppliers such as delivery precision, lead time performance and lead-time accuracy. Ensure supply by providing the forecast to the suppliers, take ownership of on time part availability.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- To achieve this, we would like to have dedicated resources focusing on following commodities: Fabrication, Machining & Kanban parts. Also to work on Kanban concept with the suppliers.
- Organize supplier co-planning meetings to assure capacity of supply at key suppliers in global & Local demand planning forecasts.
- Ownership of delivery precision from suppliers.
- Sign, follow up (maintain) and keep total ownership of parts to be arranged on time for production.
- Support forecast accuracy improvement activities & understanding of BOM structure.
- Monitor supplier performance KPIs and drive improvement activities to reduce lead times, improve delivery performance and support quality improvements.
- Support improvements of the supply flow to ensure we source in the right region based on country of origin and demand with zero shortage & on time delivery.
- Provide inputs into MOQ and order multiple optimizations from supplier.
- Should be Agile, Quick learner with Problem solving attitude.
- Able to work with CFT.

**Skills & Behavioural Competencies**:

- Degree in supply chain, operations, or related degree.
- 3-4 years relevant experience in the same field.
- Experience in the Fabrication, Machining, OEM & Kanban part procurement.
- Experience in end-to-end supply chain management, inventory management, and project management.
- Ability to develop supplier relationships.
- Strong analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Power BI
- Prior experience working with MRP tools a plus.
- Strong English communication skill both verbal and written. Additional language will be preferred.
- Good knowledge of understanding the production plan and accordingly schedule and PO release to vendor.
- Genuine interest in technology, people, teamwork and in achieving results.
- Attentive to details, organized and result
- and solution oriented and have an ability to act and deliver in a dynamic environment.
- Good in understanding the drawings.
