**Position**: Buyer - Procurement

**Location**: Vadodara (Gujarat)

**About the Company**: A Leading Manaufacturing Company

**Qualification**:B E / B Tech - Mechanical

**Experience**: 15 - 22 years

**Responsibilities**:

- Buying can be related to any category of fabricated component along with machining ( Preferably Hydro industry / heavy Engineering, Power sector )
- Timely sending of RFQ’s to relevant vendors.
- Prepare comparative statement after negotiating the prices and getting the same approved as per the defined matrix & able to justify the price.
- Timely Placement of PO in HYSAP on right vendor capable of executing the Order with enough capacity and on right price and able to deliver right quality.
- Ensure that PO must be transmitted along with all the relevant documents
- Regular follow up with vendor to ensure On time delivery of the ordered component.
- Able to lead the KOM ( Kick Of Meeting) with vendor
- Ensure correctness of the dispatch document including invoice
- Ensure timely payment to vendor by ensuring timely clearance of MIGO from quality and warehouse
- Manage supplier relationship with good communication.
- Regular Visit / meeting to supplier to analyze its capacity and other critical parameters for heathy supply chain.
- Handling of NCR - Timey resolution of NCR - by doing follow up with different functions and accordingly raise and resolve the claim issue with vendor.
- Resolving the commercial issues if any
