Accounts Executive

**About the role -**
This position provides an opportunity to grow under the supervision of people renowned in the field of accounts & finance. We are looking for a team member who thinks on their feet and loves crunching numbers. Accounting, compliance, and other financial matters are essential to scaling a business. We do not want someone looking for just a job; we want someone who is going to assume responsibility and display ownership, to ensure that these matters are covered without a glitch - and constantly grow in skills and experience.

**Key Skills and knowledge**:

- Accounting, Finance Management, Client Servicing, Account Payable/Receivables, Budgeting, New Business, Auditing, MIS, NBFC Reconciliations
- Knowledge of Income Tax, GST, Company Law, Indian GAAP, and other necessary regulatory requirements
- Knowledge of various accounting ERPs will be highly appreciated
- Should have a sound knowledge of how Indian banking system works - different types of transactions and how customers are notified about them
- Attention to detail
- Strong problem solving skills
- Penchant for numbers
- Excellent operational abilities
- Deep willingness to learn and upskill oneself

**Education**:

- Experience: 1-5 years
- Minimum Bachelors in Commerce/Accounting or a related field ( Chartered Accountant will be preferred)

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Preparation of Company Budgets and assist in financial models
- Recording all business transactions on Zoho Books/Quick Books
- Develop knowledge of QuickBooks/ Zoho Books (a cloud-based accounting software)
- Handling foreign remittances
- Handling foreign direct investment (FDI) and RBI compliances
- Client coordination & maintaining vendor/ client relationships
- Responsibility of compliances and deliverables (Statutory and other) MIS, TDS, GST, etc.
- Reconciliations of Accounts & Banks.
- Compliance filings (TDS, GST, FLA, etc)
- Treasury Management
- Coordinating with CA for Audit and finalization of books
- Billing and Recovery
- Communication with bankers and other relevant third party stakeholders
- Verify discrepancies and resolve queries effectively
- Finding and resolving accounting/ legal issues
- highlighting current/ probable statutory non-compliances
- Work planning and scheduling

**Location & Work Environment**

The Vatika Triangle; Gurgaon, India
- We have built a creative space in a top corporate building in a prime location in Gurgaon.
- The office is on M.G. Road, a **2-minute walk from the M.G. Road Metro Station**.
