**Job Purpose**

To assist in laboratory experiments, product trials, and process improvements under the supervision of senior R&D staff, supporting innovation and development in chemical manufacturing.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Laboratory Support**:

- Conduct basic lab experiments as per instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Measure and mix chemical substances accurately for trials.
- Record observations, test results, and maintain lab notebooks.
- **Product & Process Trials**:

- Support scale-up activities from lab to pilot plant.
- **Data Collection & Documentation**:

- Prepare test reports, maintain documentation, and help in compiling technical data.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity in all recorded data.
- **Quality & Safety Compliance**:

- Follow all safety guidelines and wear required PPE in lab and production areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the laboratory.
- **Cross-functional Coordination**:

- Coordinate with the Production, Quality Control, and Purchase teams for materials and sample testing.
- Assist in customer sample preparation or technical support when required.

**Skills & Competencies**
- Strong theoretical knowledge in chemistry or chemical engineering principles
- Basic laboratory skills and handling of glassware/instruments
- Eagerness to learn new techniques and processes
- Good observation, documentation, and communication skills
- Familiarity with MS Office (Excel, Word)
- Understanding of safety practices in a chemical lab (preferred)
