House Mother

**Job description**_**:_A full-time residential paid staff to lead the shelter home night and day activities independently on daily basis. Along with Udaan Program Manager, she’ll be in charge and responsible to provide healthy, safe, secured and holistic environment for the residential beneficiaries in the shelter home. She’ll monitor all the activities of the shelter home daily operations scheduled for the girls/children under Education, Health(nutrition, hygiene, physical/ medical, mental), Communications, Recreation, vocational activities etc. **She will associate with the organization as 24 hours working staff.**

**Location**:Nerul, Navi Mumbai

**Role and Responsibilities**:
**Daily Care and Supervision:

- ** Oversee daily routines, including waking up, meals, school schedules, medicines and bedtime routines. Assist with homework, educational activities, providing guidance and encouragement. Monitor and support the girls' hygiene, health, and overall well-being, addressing any issues or concerns as they arise.

**Crisis and Conflict Management:

- ** Address and manage conflicts and behavioral issues among the girls using appropriate conflict resolution techniques. Handle emergencies calmly and effectively, ensuring the safety and security of all residents in Shelter. Implement and adhere to shelter policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment.

**Communication:

- ** Regular coordination and communication with Shelter Staff. Provide daily important updates to Udaan Program manager related to health, education, etc., personal behavioral issues of the children. Provide regular guidance to the team and help to manage the team dynamics & conflicts.

**Documentation & Admin:

- ** Reporting and documentation of the day & night shelter records / files/ registers assigned to you. Maintaining and updating stock registers, inventory registers, etc.

**Monitoring & Evaluation:

- ** Active participation in various M & E process of the organization such as Monthly, weekly, internal and daily meetings. Provide activity’s impacts or outcomes you have observed as your M & E inputs
- Supervise and monitor day to day various processes of shelter home. Ensure smooth and timely functioning of all the activities conducted in open shelter.

**Recreation:

- ** Help Udaan team to organize and conduct indoor and outdoor recreational activities for beneficiaries. Independently plan different programs/ activities for children on holidays.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
