**Overview**
- The IBDP Psychology Teacher and Behavioral Counselor at OWIS Sarjapur plays a key role in delivering the IBDP Psychology curriculum, while also supporting students' mental health and personal development. The teacher is responsible for engaging students with the curriculum, assessing their progress, and offering individualized academic support, while the counselor provides emotional guidance and intervention for students facing behavioral or mental health challenges. **Responsibilities**

**Teaching and Assessing Psychology**: Deliver the IBDP Psychology curriculum, create engaging lesson plans, conduct assessments, and provide individualized support to help students understand psychological concepts and excel in their studies.

**Behavioral and Emotional Support**: Offer counseling services to students, addressing behavioral or emotional challenges, and develop personalized intervention plans to support their well-being and personal development.

**Collaboration and Communication**: Work closely with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student growth, providing insights and strategies to foster both academic success and emotional health.

**Skills Description**

**Classroom Management and Intervention Strategies**: Skilled in managing classroom dynamics, creating a supportive learning environment, and implementing personalized behavioral intervention plans to guide students toward emotional well-being and academic success.
