**Job Description: Technical Support Executive**

**Position Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide first-level technical support to employees (hardware, software, and network).
- Diagnose and resolve IT issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, VoIP phones, and other office equipment.
- Monitor and maintain local area networks (LAN), Wi-Fi, internet connectivity, and office servers.
- Escalate complex issues to higher-level IT support or vendors when required.
- Maintain IT asset inventory (hardware/software licensing and usage).
- Ensure data backups and security protocols are followed.
- Provide user training and guidance on IT best practices.
- Document technical issues, solutions, and support logs.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Proven experience (1-3 years) in IT support or a similar role.
- Familiarity with networking (LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, routers, switches).
- Basic knowledge of server administration and cloud services (Google Workspace / Microsoft 365 / Azure).
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple support requests simultaneously.
- Customer service mindset with a professional and approachable attitude.

**Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have)**
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional, or equivalent.
- Experience with remote support tools and ticketing systems.
- Knowledge of data backup solutions, cybersecurity, and IT compliance.
