- Engineering graduate with 2years of experience
- Experience in Telecom Network Operation Centre supporting layer 1, 2 and 3 operations
- Experience on SDH, Carrier Ethernet Products from multiple vendors and knowledge of different EMS & NMS tools
- Transmission Network Monitoring System; standard troubleshooting activities that are performed at transmission nodes
- Knowledge on functionality of transmission media test equipment (Optical light meter, power meter, Optical Time Domain Reflectometer - OTDR)
- Immediate fault isolation and resolution capability.
- Alarm correlation and impact analysis, Root Cause Analysis, and recommended action to resolve network issues.
- Knowledge of performance and traffic analysis methodologies & tools
- Complete knowledge of architecture and functioning of the specific network elements
- Complete knowledge of overall network operations, network inventory and activity flows
- Knowledge of all relevant protocols handled by specific network elements
- Good understanding of the network elements to be monitored.

- Having knowledge on SDH Ring closure & Provisioning of Circuits on Ciena.
