**Job Summary**:
The Shift Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant during a designated shift. This includes managing front-of-house staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, maintaining quality service, handling cash, and supporting the overall operation. The Shift Supervisor ensures that the restaurant runs smoothly, efficiently, and in accordance with company policies and health & safety regulations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Team Supervision & Leadership**:

- Supervise, lead, and motivate front-of-house staff (waitstaff, hosts, bussers, bartenders) to deliver exceptional service.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members and monitor their performance throughout the shift.
- Provide training, coaching, and support to staff members to improve performance and service standards.
- Ensure all staff members follow restaurant protocols, including service procedures, uniform guidelines, and hygiene standards.
- Address any employee issues, conflicts, or concerns during the shift, escalating to the manager as necessary.
- **Customer Service Management**:

- Ensure that guests receive high-quality, prompt, and courteous service at all times.
- Handle guest complaints and concerns professionally, aiming for swift resolutions and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor guest satisfaction during the shift and take proactive measures to address any service issues.
- Ensure that all guest needs are met, from greeting and seating to food and beverage delivery.
- **Operational Oversight**:

- Ensure the restaurant is properly stocked with food, beverages, and supplies for the shift.
- Oversee the preparation, presentation, and quality of food and beverages being served.
- Ensure that all safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards are met within the restaurant and kitchen areas.
- Monitor restaurant inventory levels and report shortages or supply issues to management.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including checking that the restaurant is clean and secured at the end of the shift.
- **Cash and Financial Management**:

- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and ensure accurate cash handling and till reconciliation.
- Ensure that all guests are billed accurately and that transactions are completed promptly.
- Monitor the financial performance during the shift, ensuring sales goals are met and operational costs are controlled.
- **Staff Scheduling and Time Management**:

- Assist with scheduling staff to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours and special events.
- Ensure staff breaks and shift changes are managed appropriately, minimizing disruption to service.
- Track employee attendance and ensure punctuality.
- **Health & Safety Compliance**:

- Enforce health and safety regulations, including food safety guidelines, sanitation, and cleanliness.
- Ensure that all staff members adhere to hygiene standards and safety protocols.
- Report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to the Restaurant Manager promptly.
- **Shift Reporting**:

- Document and report any operational issues or guest feedback to the management team.
- Track daily sales, monitor performance metrics, and ensure accurate record-keeping for the shift.
- Provide input to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Additional education in hospitality management, business, or related fields (preferred).
- **Experience**:

- At least 2 years of experience in a restaurant, with a minimum of 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Strong background in customer service and knowledge of food & beverage operations.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
