Bim Coordinator

**Job Overview**:We are seeking an experienced BIM Coordinator to join our team for a high-profile project in Saudi Arabia. The BIM Coordinator will be responsible for on-site coordination between the client, the site team, and the backend team in India. The primary role includes managing the upgrade of BIM models from LOD 300 to LOD 500, drawing extraction, and ensuring COBie integration in compliance with NEOM’s standards. The coordinator will also be accountable for quality checks, resolving clashes, and overseeing the overall BIM-related deliverables.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. On-Site Coordination**:o Act as the primary point of contact between the on-site team, the client, and the backend BIM team in India. o Ensure all model upgrades, drawing extractions, and COBie data integration are completed on time and in compliance with NEOM standards and project requirements. o Coordinate and monitor the quality of vendor drawings and red-line markups during the model upgrade from LOD 300 to LOD 500. o Work closely with the backend team to review as-built drawings and ensure they align with the red-line mark-ups, minimizing time and effort on rework. o Conduct on-site inspections and verifications of BIM models and drawings to ensure consistency with the actual construction.

**2. Clash Resolution and Compliance**:o Collaborate with the design, MEP, and structural teams to identify and resolve any clashes during the upgrade of the model. o Ensure that the BIM models are compliant with NEOM’s BIM standards and Code A deliverables. o Perform regular quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) checks on models and drawings.

**3. COBie and Asset Management**:o Follow NEOM's COBie template and procedures to ensure asset management parameters are properly integrated into the BIM model. o Coordinate with the backend team to ensure timely delivery of the asset register, aligned with NEOM standards.

**4. Client and Stakeholder Management**:o Attend site meetings with clients and stakeholders, representing the BIM team and providing updates on model progression, drawing finalization, and COBie compliance. o Respond to client queries related to BIM coordination, and resolve any on-site issues in collaboration with the backend team.

**5. Manpower Coordination**:o Ensure seamless collaboration between on-site teams and the backend team for ongoing model updates, drawing extraction, and asset management tasks. o Provide training and guidance to site personnel as needed to align with BIM processes and NEOM standards.

**Requirements: -**

**Education**:Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

**Experience**:o Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in BIM coordination on large-scale construction projects. o Experience working on projects at LOD 300 to LOD 500, specifically with vendor drawings and red-line markups. o Familiarity with COBie and asset management systems, ideally within the NEOM or GCC region.
- **Technical Skills**:o Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and BIM 360. o Knowledge of NEOM BIM standards is highly desirable. o Strong understanding of clash detection and resolution using Navisworks. o Experience with COBie data extraction and asset management integration.
- **Key Competencies**: o Excellent communication and coordination skills to work effectively between on-site teams, the backend team, and the client. o Strong problem-solving and quality-checking abilities to ensure deliverables meet required standards. o Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines, with a focus on accuracy and detail.
