Bim Coordinator

**Job Overview**:We are seeking a Remote BIM Coordinator to manage and oversee BIM processes for a highprofile project in Saudi Arabia. The BIM Coordinator will work remotely but will be responsible for close coordination between the client, the on-site team in Saudi Arabia, and the backend team in India. The primary focus will be upgrading BIM models from LOD 300 to LOD 500, extracting as-built drawings, and ensuring COBie integration in compliance with NEOM standards. You will monitor quality, resolve clashes, and ensure timely deliverables while working remotely.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Remote Coordination: o Serve as the primary point of contact for BIM-related activities, liaising between the on-site team, the client, and the backend BIM team based in India. o Ensure model upgrades, drawing extraction, and COBie data integration are completed on schedule and in accordance with NEOM’s standards. o Review and manage red-line markups and vendor drawings for upgrading models from LOD 300 to LOD 500, ensuring accuracy and mínimal rework. o Facilitate remote quality checks of BIM models, ensuring alignment with the actual site conditions.

2. Clash Detection and Compliance: o Coordinate remotely with the design, MEP, and structural teams to identify and resolve clashes within the BIM model. o Ensure that all models adhere to NEOM’s BIM standards and meet Code A deliverable requirements. o Perform remote quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) checks on BIM models and extracted drawings.

3. COBie and Asset Management: o Follow NEOM’s COBie template and procedures to ensure proper integration of asset management data within the BIM model. o Oversee the backend team's progress in linking asset registers to the BIM model, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of COBie-compliant data.

4. Client and Stakeholder Communication: o Participate in virtual meetings with clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates on model progression, drawing finalization, and COBie data compliance. o Respond to any client inquiries regarding BIM coordination and resolve any issues in collaboration with the backend team and on-site personnel.

5. Team Coordination: o Work closely with the backend team to ensure smooth progress of BIMrelated tasks such as model upgrades, drawing extraction, and COBie data integration. o Provide remote support and guidance to the on-site BIM team to ensure consistency in BIM processes and compliance with NEOM standards.

**Requirements**:
**Education**:Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

**Experience**: o Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in BIM coordination, ideally working remotely on large-scale construction projects. o Familiarity with upgrading BIM models from LOD 300 to LOD 500, especially in reviewing vendor drawings and red-line markups. o Experience with COBie data extraction and asset management, preferably in the NEOM or GCC region.

**Technical Skills**:o Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and BIM 360. o Knowledge of NEOM BIM standards is highly desirable. o Strong understanding of clash detection and resolution using Navisworks. o Experience with COBie data and asset management integration.

**Key Competencies**: o Excellent communication skills for remote collaboration with on-site and backend teams, as well as clients. o Strong attention to detail for reviewing models and drawings remotely, ensuring accuracy and compliance. o Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines while working remotely with mínimal supervision.
