Brief Job Description:

- S/he will engage with the local community to create awareness on MGNREGA
- Facilitate active participation of the local community and build their ownership in the programme at all stages

such as planning, implementation and monitoring of work
- Mobilize community members to claim their right to employment and work towards creation of durable

assets.
- Towards this, the Social Mobilizer would work to strengthen community interface with the duty bearers of the

Gram Panchayat
- Play active roles in conducting training, exposure visits for the grass root stakeholders and to help the villagers

to plan for sustainable livelihood interventions
- Set up systems and processes to enable the community maintain physical structures created under the

initiative
- Graduate in any discipline with 1-2 years work experience in social mobilisation alternatively, Matriculate with

minimum 5 years’ work experience in social mobilisation and natural resource management with rural community

at the grassroots. Non-matriculate Community Resource Persons trained and guided by reputed NGO / Institution

and have more than 5 years of work experience on SHG and natural resource management may also applicable.
- Should be motivated to work in the villages specially with deprived sections and willing to acquire new knowledge

and skills relevant to the project and guide implementation processes,
- Fluency to communicate in local language

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
