Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors throughout the project lifecycle
Ensure all objectives and artifacts are completed on-time and with quality
Develop and manage a detailed project plan
Manage project scope, schedule, and costs
Complete periodic status reporting including risk reporting and escalation to management
Coordinate and lead multi-disciplinary teams including Delivery Managers, Software
Developers, Quality Assurance Analysts, and Business Analysts
Manage and mentor all Business Analysts assigned to the project
Delegate project tasks based on junior staff members’ individual strengths, skillsets, and
experience levels
Ellicit detailed requirements and “problem definitions” from clients and internal teams
Develop spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps to document current and future state
Qualifications & Requirements
Deep expertise with various project management methodologies like Scaled Agile
Framework and Agile software development including Scrum theory, rules and practices and
waterfall.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience building user stories, continuous integration, test
driven development, continuous testing, pairing, automated testing, burn down metrics,
velocity, etc.
Demonstrated consulting management expertise influencing, eliciting, and specifying
stakeholder needs in large, complex projects.
Experience working with and managing teams in onshore/offshore setup across multiple time
zones.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work across the enterprise and disciplines including engineering, finance, and
operations.
Excels in managing multiple initiatives and priorities in a fast-paced continuously improving
environment.
Quick and willing learner of technologies, business models, and industries.
Enterprise software development life cycle experience in carrier and/or software company
Partners with customers, partners, and software product experts on Scrum team(s) to run
ceremonies, creates delivery plans, and manages progress to intended outcomes including
continuously improving velocity, value creation, and quality.
Servant leadership experience protecting the team from externalities and removing barriers
to team success while managing focus on squad objectives.
Experience working with client product owners and enterprise software scrum teams to drive
jointly created plans and outcomes is a plus.
Experience successfully leading a matrix team (without direct HR accountability)
Experience managing project scope, requirements, resources, timeline, cost, quality, client
and program goals, contract terms, and risk
PMI PMP or Scrum Master Certification preferred
Strong knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, Excel and other PM tools
Bachelor’s degree (typically in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a
minimum of 10-12 years of prior relevant experience
