**Responsibilities**

Collaborate with Product Management and other stakeholders within Engineering to maintain a high bar for quality in a fast-paced environment

Bring their past experience to Install, Setup and Maintain new instances of Gitlab on AWS

2. Develop features and improvements on our self-hosted GitLab with mínimal guidance and support from other team members

3. Advocate for improvements to product quality, security, and performance

4. Solve technical problems of large scope and complexity

5. Craft scripts and code that meets our internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices. Maintain and advocate for these standards through code review

**Required Qualifications**

1. A minimum 4 years of professional software engineering experience in an Agile environment

2. AWS Certification: Associate Developer or Associate Solutions Architect

3. Working knowledge of IaC and automation. Example: CloudFormation, Terraform, CDK, Ansible, Pulumi, etc.

4. GitLab Certified System Admin Specialist

5. Working experience with Python

6. Working experience with Linux

7. Basic working knowledge of Docker

8. Great troubleshooting skills

9. Demonstrated capacity to clearly and concisely communicate about complex technical and architectural problems and propose thorough iterative solutions

10. Self motivated and self managing

11. Experience with the GitLab product as a user or contributor

12. Experience working in a global, distributed, or otherwise multi-cultural team

13. Enterprise software company experience

14. Security mindset

**Salary**: ₹100,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Hyderabad, Telangana: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
