Substation Shift Operator

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate, monitor, and control substation equipment including transformers, circuit breakers, isolators, and switchgear.
- Perform routine and emergency switching operations as per standard operating procedures.
- Conduct visual inspections and minor maintenance checks on electrical equipment.
- Accurately log shift activities, including readings, switching operations, incidents, and observations.
- Coordinate with the grid control center and maintenance teams during faults, outages, and planned shutdowns.
- Follow safety protocols and permit-to-work (PTW) systems to ensure personal and equipment safety.
- Troubleshoot and escalate technical issues as per company policy.
- Support emergency response during fault conditions and restoration of supply.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory, environmental, and operational standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in substation operations.
- Strong knowledge of electrical substation systems, high-voltage equipment, and safety standards.
