Ø **Purpose of Position**
- Responsible for all safety related roles in project site aligning according to the client procedure.
Ø **Major Responsibilities**
- Support all aspects of Health, Safety, Security and Environmental (HSSE) management in the Business Unit through the life of projects from initiation, business development, construction and operation.
- Organize and supervise all HSSE matters before and during the construction of various large projects at SEA level:
- Develop, implement and maintain the HSSE policies, guidelines, practices, objectives, management systems and tools to reflect these requirements and ensure they are implemented;
- Establish HSSE plan specific to each project taking into account ENGIE, local regulation, Customer and Contractors plans;
- Hand over HSSE plan to Operations upon Testing & Commissioning
- Interface with entities HSSE professionals & provide support and improve HSSE performance, including providing on-ground support to entities as required and ensure strong sharing of best practices and lessons learnt.
- Conduct ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 internal audits.
- Plan and organize EHS related activities or events to promote and educate staff on good safety culture and good work practices.
- Review and identify EHS related training requirements for various category of staff to meet the mandatory requirement and also to meet the job requirement.
- Develop in house training material/video, organize and conduct in house training and maintain training record.
- Prepare or review publication materials to educate the workforce.
- Conduct EHS inspection and Accident investigation when necessary.
Ø **Qualification and Experience**
- Graduate engineer (Civil Engineer) with min 3 - 5 years of experience with 3 - 5 years experience in Renewable.
- Should hold an Safety Training certificate
Ø **Skills & Qualities**
- Proven experience as safety officer.
- In depth knowledge of legislation (e.g. OSHA/EPA) and procedures.
- Knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices.
- Experience in writing reports and policies for health and safety.
- Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics.
Ø **Languages - **English, Hindi & Tamil
**Salary**: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

**Education**:
- Bachelor's (preferred)
