Injection Moulding Supervisor

**Key Role & Responsibilities of Supervisors**
- Ensuring Production performance areas which is Availability, Productivity, Quality to achieve OEE->80%
- Mould machine alignment & Reporting Machine running status.
- Ensure Quality index at shop floor for Moulding Operations.
- Man / Machine alignment Vs Target Output.
- Overlook Mould change according to the production sequence & change over plans.
- Polymer issue, control & pre-conditioning against Production plans assigned.
- Reporting Hourly shift Production report with Rejections & downtime details.
- Controlling rejections & machine Downtime.
- Keep track of online/offline rework status.
- Knowledge of material properties relevant to injection Molding processes &material grade.
- Provide training and support for mc operators with SMP &GMP standards and best practices.
- Assist in the validation of new injection Molding parts & processes.
- Ensure as Rework status is tracked and maintained according to the plan
- Ensure Rework is proper, and all flash/burr is removed.
- Ensure the rework surface is smooth, proper care must be taken on the functional surfaces.

**Mould Handling alignments**
- Mould Loading to be initiated & complied with verification of Mould readiness & to check that mould is loaded on the designated machine.
- Assigning the proper mould with required variant on the machine as per Plan & SMED Target of change over time.
- Mould functions, checks & related necessary safety precautions to be taken before starting the Mould to prevent damages & accidents.
- Proper checks are to be done after mould loading to prevent accidents

**Quality alignment.**
- Quality of parts produced must be checked every hour to prevent defects in running production
- Samples are to be taken hourly and inspected with respect to the benchmark samples.
- If any defects are found, then corrective steps are to be taken depending on the defect to encounter
- Mixing ratios of polymer & grinding to be ensured for the parts applicable with recycling.
- Fitment /critical dimensions if any to be verified as per Quality Plan sampling.

**Machine running status**:

- Machine status is to be checked hourly or depending on rounds to prevent unnecessary downtime.
- If a machine is not working or no job is assigned, then a suitable job is to be assigned to ensure maximum usage of the machine

**Man / Machine alignment**:

- Depending on the production target man-machine alignment is to be see on floor
- Ensure suitable task is to be given to the individual depending on the capability of the operator
- To ensure that all the manpower is being utilised at any given time
- To ensure that operators are working on the machine designated to them as per work SOP.

**Overlook mould change according to the plan**:

- Ensure that mould is mounted on the designated machine
- Ensure that the safety protocols are followed while changing of mould
- Ensure that the die issued for mounting is proper

**Issue polymer for reloading of machine**:

- Issuing correct polymer for machines from the local store.
- Ensure & check for weight of polymer issued against PO.
- Ensure that the safety protocols are being followed while reloading the polymer

**Prepare a hourly shift report with downtime details**:

- Checking & maintaining the quality of parts produced conforming to the benchmark
- Hourly check on all the parts being produced to ensure parts have no defect.
- Preparing proper formatted document stating the downtime reason if any and actions taken to resolve the problem.
- Ensure shift handover documents are prepared and given to the next supervisor to forma a precise communication channel

**5S & machine/mould maintenance**:

- Ensure 5s standards are being followed organising the work floor and for discipline in the production area.
- Monitor timely execution of daily maintenance of mc and mould from service to prevent unexpected breakdown.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
