**Job Summary**:
The Cashier/Guest Service Associate at Blue Poppy Thakali is responsible for handling financial transactions accurately while ensuring excellent customer service. This role involves welcoming guests, processing payments, managing orders, and addressing customer inquiries to create a seamless dining experience.

**Key Responsibilities:Cashiering Duties**:

- Operate the cash register or POS system to process payments accurately (cash, card, UPI, and other digital payment methods).
- Ensure all transactions are recorded correctly and issue receipts promptly.
- Handle cash responsibly, perform daily reconciliations, and prepare accurate end-of-day reports.

**Guest Service**:

- Greet customers warmly upon entry and assist them with their orders.
- Explain menu items, promotions, and recommend dishes based on guest preferences.
- Handle takeout and delivery orders, ensuring accuracy and timely handoff.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any concerns professionally and promptly.

**Order Coordination**:

- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
- Monitor the status of orders and update guests on wait times if necessary.

**Cleanliness & Organization**:

- Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable cashier and counter area.
- Ensure promotional materials and menus are displayed neatly.

**Inventory Management**:

- Monitor stock levels of packaged products, beverages, and other items sold at the counter.
- Report low stock or discrepancies to the manager.

**Customer Feedback**:

- Collect and record customer feedback, ensuring concerns are escalated appropriately.
- Strive to enhance the guest experience by being attentive and approachable.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in cash handling or customer service is a plus.
- Experience in a cashier or guest service role in the restaurant or retail industry.
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic accounting principles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
- Basic math skills and comfort handling financial transactions.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
