We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a **Communications Officer**

**Principal Responsibilities**

The Communications Officer is a member of the DBS Communications team in Asia. The role holder will be responsible for:

- Supporting and executing communications activities for the Global Head of GSCs and the Global Service Centres in India (GSC India), under the direction of the Senior Communications Consultant to the Head of the GSCs and GSC India;
- Logistical management of key internal communications events;
- Distributing and publishing of internal communications messages and content across multiple digital platforms;
- Supporting the implementation of internal communications plans and activities in line with the GSC’s priorities;
- Effectively and efficiently delivering support for key internal communications events and campaigns;
- Drafting and publishing communications content across multiple platforms;
- Updating information across internal communications platforms, e.g. newsletters, SharePoints, our new social intranet, etc;
- Adopting and adapting to innovative new internal communications tools, e.g. digital workplace, Poppulo, etc;
- Using measurement and insight to improve and inform activities;

Requirements
- Graduate or Post graduate
- Good experience of 5-7 years in communication concepts and principles
- Good written and oral communications skills, with the desire to constantly build new capabilities and enhance knowledge and experience;
- An understanding of banking operations is an advantage
- Experience of internal communications / people engagement activities
- A basic understanding of the financial services industry and the challenges and changes in the sector would be advantageous;
- Ability to multitask on a wide range of activities;
- Seeks to improve day-to-day departmental activities and will actively seek authority to implement them;
