**About the Role**:***:Cogniter Technologies is seeking a **Manual Tester / QA Engineer** with 2-5 years of experience to join our QA team. In this role, you will analyze requirements, design and execute test cases, and ensure delivery of high-quality, bug-free solutions. You will collaborate closely with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes.

**Key Responsibilities**:***:

- Review and analyze project requirement documents for accuracy and completeness
- Collaborate with Project Managers and Developers to define scope and testing requirements
- Design, document, and execute detailed test cases and scenarios
- Track client feedback and ensure timely implementation of changes
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing
- Report, document, and track bugs/issues using bug-tracking tools
- Validate reports prepared by junior testers and provide guidance as needed
- Manage multiple assignments while meeting deadlines
- Follow and enhance QA processes to support continuous improvement

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:***:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 2-5 years of proven experience as a Manual Tester / QA Engineer
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and QA processes
- Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and bug reports
- Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Bugzilla)
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively
- Knowledge of basic SQL queries for data validation (preferred)
