We are searching for a talented and motivated Remote Intern Website Designer to join our team and gain valuable hands-on experience in the world of web design. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work from the comfort of your home and collaborate with our experienced design and development teams, assisting in the creation and implementation of visually appealing and user-friendly websites.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with our design team to conceptualize and create website layouts, wireframes, and mockups.
- Assist in transforming visual designs into functional and responsive websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Learn and utilize content management systems (CMS) like WordPress to update and maintain website content.
- Optimize web graphics and images for fast loading times and improved user experience.
- Participate in usability testing and gather feedback to iterate and improve website designs.
- Work with the development team to ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
- Research and implement the latest design trends and best practices in web design.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions, providing creative ideas and solutions.
- Take part in virtual team meetings, learning from experienced professionals in the industry.
- Seek continuous learning opportunities and actively stay updated with emerging design technologies.

**Requirements**:

- Basic understanding of web design principles, including layout, color theory, and typography.
- Proficiency in design software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint & Google Drive.
- Some knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is preferred but not mandatory.
- A portfolio showcasing any design projects, websites, or design concepts will be an advantage.
- Creative mindset with a passion for design and user experience.
- Strong attention to detail and dedication to delivering high-quality work.

Availability to work remotely with a laptop/computer and high-speed internet for the duration of the 12-month internship.
