**Food Preparation and Execution**:
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, ensuring high-quality and consistent dishes are served to guests.
- Lead by example in the kitchen, demonstrating culinary techniques and maintaining cleanliness and organization.
**Kitchen Management**:
- Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling.
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed to meet demand while minimizing waste.
**Quality Control**:
- Monitor food quality and presentation to uphold the café's standards.
- Implement and enforce proper food safety and sanitation procedures.
**Cost Control**:
- Work closely with management to control food costs and optimize profitability.
- Monitor portion sizes and minimize waste through efficient kitchen practices.
**Collaboration**:
- Collaborate with other departments, including front-of-house staff, to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with the management team to address any issues and continuously improve operations.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a similar establishment, with expertise in Continental cuisine.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor kitchen staff.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Creativity and passion for culinary excellence.
