**COMPLIANCE OFFICER**

**Roles & Responsibilities -**

1. Monitor and ensure the company’s compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies, including corporate laws, tax regulations, labor laws, and industry-specific regulations.

2. Oversee the timely filing of all statutory returns, including annual returns, financial reports, and other required documentation with regulatory bodies such as the Registrar of Companies (RoC), or other applicable bodies.

3. Ensure the company adheres to best practices in corporate governance, providing guidance to the board and senior management on governance issues.

4. Organize, prepare agendas, and document minutes for board meetings and other corporate meetings (such as AGM/EGM), ensuring compliance with statutory and legal obligation.

5. Draft and maintain important legal documents such as resolutions, agreements, and contracts, and ensure they meet the necessary legal requirements. Maintain up-to-date statutory registers, including records of shareholders, directors, key managerial personnel (KMP), and other legal documents required under the Companies Act.

6. Managing employee benefits like health insurance, leave policies, and other perks. Maintaining employee records and HR data in an organized and confidential manner.

7. Drafting and updating company policies and procedures related to employee management. Ensuring policies align with company goals and regulatory requirements.

8. Ensuring the organization complies with local, state, and national labor laws (e.g., minimum wage, working hours, employee rights, etc.). Keeping updated on legal changes related to HR and company compliance, such as labor laws, Company laws workplace safety regulations, and data protection rules (e.g., GDPR).

9. Conducting workplace inspections, managing safety training, and reporting any incidents in compliance with legal standards.

10. Handling compliance with government reporting requirements (e.g., tax filings, social security filings. Preparing and submitting required legal reports and documentation to governmental agencies.

11. Effectively handling projects that are assigned and managing them with all due responsibilities.

12. You will be reporting to Director & Managing Director.

13. And all the office responsibilities occur time to time.
