Role Summary

We are seeking to recruit an ambitious and dynamic BIM Technician to join the ‘Maritime iCRC’ team in Noida/Bengaluru to work alongside our wider Middle East team.

**Responsibilities**:

- You will be working and supporting on a range of maritime projects to independently develop engineering drawings in accordance with the relevant standards.
- You will be expected to play a proactive part in the design process and to be active on several projects at any given time.
- You will be contributing to projects that range from masterplanning, concept design and detailed design.
- You will be using Revit, AutoCAD and other design software for the production and development of drawings.
- You will read and adher to all relevant policies and procedures for Health and Safety including the H&S Policy, H&S Manual, and Local Procedures Manual.
- You will take responsibility for own personal development with the support of line manager and follow an agreed development plan
- You will assist in the development of others in the team
- Communication gwith design team members and colleagues.

Key Competencies / Skills:
Mandatory Skills
- Ability to utilise Revit in adherence to defined BEP to develop models, layouts, dimensioning, sheet layout, design details and other appropriate design concepts.
- Ability to read and interpret 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models to assist with investigations of engineering problems.
- Proven ability to work up drawings (plans, sections & details) from Engineers basic sketches to full working drawings
- Ensure models / drawings accuracy based on BIM standards and BIM project workflow criteria / checklist.
- Ability to liaise with the design teams as necessary to coordinate design and drawing production.
- Capable of multi-tasking and managing multiple projects with the ability to accurately predict the time required to fulfil the individual scopes of work required.
- Proficient in use of standard office software
- Publish drawing sets to the cloud for professional team review and mark-up;
- Prepare discipline model and/or content for BIM coordination meetings;
- Export NWC/IFC and other formats for collaboration internally and externally;
- Good written and verbal communication skills.

Desired Skills
- Experienced in collaboration using a common data environment such as BIM 360 or similar.
- Advanced skills in Revit and Dynamo;
- Experience in AutoDesk Civil 3D will be an added advantage;
- Maritime project experience.

**Qualifications**:

- You will have a Diploma in Engineering level qualification in Civil Engineering or equivalent with 4 years’+ relevant post-graduate experience
- Autodesk Certified User certification - Revit
