Role:
Support the design team in the delivery of Landscape project design information utilising BIM at all project stages. Assist with the production of drawing material, maps and 3D modelling. Assist the project team with the production of information to coordinate specialist disciplines information and help to identify areas where potential issues may arise. Have a good understanding of UK building standards to implement in the design. The Architectural Technician will report to the Senior Technician or Project Landscape Architect.

Job Responsibilities:

- Collate and organise technical design information relevant to the specific project.
- Prepare design information in a BIM environment utilising Autodesk Revit or Civils 3D.
- Understand technical construction requirements to inform the production of design information.
- Identify potential design issues and come up with solutions to mitigate.
- Monitor design information for potential health and safety risks and contribute to risk identification and assessment reviews.
- Coordinate design information with other specialist disciplines.
- Have a good understanding of statutory requirements for compliance.
- Contribute to meetings and document preparation to present proposals.

People Management:

- Able to manage graduates and provide guidance and support where necessary.
- Follow company values and exhibit appropriate behaviours.
- Manage time efficiently and assist / input into team meetings to review design programme.

Business & Financial
- Support the Project Lead in developing the project execution plan, including financial planning, and forecasting resource.

Softwares Required:

- Revit (Priority)
- AutoCAD
- GIS (Priority)
- Civils 3D (Optional)
- BIM 360
- Projectwise
- Any additional softwares is a benefit
