**Job Overview**:
The UX/UI designer is a committed individual responsible for working with a team to deliver on client projects. The UX/UI designer has an interest in understanding clients and users and a willingness to grow their knowledgebase. They will bring an eye for cohesiveness and usability to the developers and will work in tandem to deliver requirements on time and with quality.

**Responsibilities**
- Lead conversations with clients to gather requirements and discover solutions in a collaborative manner.
- Conduct user research using common user research methods like user interviews, storyboarding, journey maps, personas, etc.
- Develop UI mockups and prototypes that meet stakeholder and user needs.
- Design graphic user interface elements like menus, controls, and other visual elements in alignment with client needs and brand guidelines.
- Support UX/UI team in new and existing projects.
- Learn about current and emerging UI design concepts, standards, and best practices.

**Technical Skills**
- Understands HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and working with software developers.
- Experience in designing with design systems and UI libraries.
- Base level proficiency and familiarity with accessibility standards.
- Medium to strong visual design skills: typography, page hierarchy and layout, color theory, iconography, etc.
- Medium to strong knowledge and experience with user research methodologies.

- Excellent written and oral communication skills in a team environment.
- Ability to convey key information to technical and non-technical people at all levels.
- Creative thinker and problem solver.
- Pixel perfect attention to detail.
- Ability to listen and learn.
- Clear, kind, and candid communication.
- Confidence to say what needs to be said to move a conversation, project, and deliverable forward.
- Ability to self-manage time, responsibilities, priorities, etc.
- Willingness to take initiative and create opportunities when something is missing.
