The security internship is designed to provide comprehensive exposure to a wide range of tasks typical for a junior security analyst. The primary focus is on actively monitoring security alerts and dashboards within the SIEM platform. Interns will be responsible for swiftly investigating, responding to, and remediating security incidents, allowing them to gain valuable, hands-on experience in the daily operations of a security environment.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Training or certification in at least one industry-recognized security certification.
- Experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) is preferred.
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, experience on containers, kubernetes

**Preferred Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, including AV/EDR, firewalls, malware, IDS/IPS, phishing, WAF, etc.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with various stakeholders within the organization.
- Understanding of Threat Hunting and Threat Intelligence.
- Eagerness to learn, adapt, and implement Information Security practices.

**Responsibilities**:

- Monitor and manage the Security Operations Center (SOC).
- Create, maintain, and monitor dashboards and reports in the SIEM tool.
- Respond to security incidents and manage incident response processes.
- Conduct initial analysis of security alerts to assess severity and impact.
- Identify and implement opportunities for automation to improve SOC operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain playbooks for new monitoring use cases.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
