Define the architecture for new projects, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and best practices. - Technical Leadership: o Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring the successful implementation of architectural solutions. o Mentor and coach junior architects and developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. o Review and approve the architectural design of projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements.
- Implement identity and access management controls, encryption, and other security measures as part of the solution architecture. o Work with security teams to conduct risk assessments and vulnerability assessments of proposed solutions. - Stakeholder Engagement: o Work closely with product managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to gather and understand requirements, providing technical insight and recommendations. o Present architectural designs and solutions to technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring clear communication and understanding.
- Continuous Improvement: o Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in AWS services and modern digital technologies. o Identify opportunities to improve existing architectures and processes, driving innovation and efficiency within the organization. o Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process. Required Qualifications: - Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) and backend technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java). o Experience with microservices architecture, serverless computing, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). o Proficiency in DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automation. o Understanding of security best practices, including IAM, encryption, and network security.
- Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional or similar certifications are highly desirable. - Soft Skills: o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. o Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. o Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams.
- Leadership qualities with experience in mentoring and guiding teams. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in a consulting role or working with external clients. - Experience working in large enterprise system implementations on AWS.
