**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Curriculum Development and Lesson Planning**:

- Design and implement lesson plans that align with the school curriculum and educational standards.
- Cover topics including world history, Indian history, contemporary issues, and historiography.
- Incorporate relevant historical texts, primary sources, and multimedia resources into lessons.
- **Classroom Instruction**:

- Deliver engaging lectures and facilitate discussions that promote student interest in history.
- Encourage critical analysis and interpretation of historical events and sources.
- Use innovative teaching methods to foster an interactive and inclusive classroom environment.
- **Student Assessment and Evaluation**:

- Create and administer assessments, quizzes, projects, and presentations to evaluate student understanding and engagement.
- Provide timely feedback and constructive criticism on assignments and assessments.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and prepare progress reports as required.
- **Student Support and Guidance**:

- Identify students who may need additional support and provide guidance through mentoring and tutoring.
- Encourage participation in history clubs, competitions, and extracurricular activities related to history and social studies.
- Advise students on academic and career pathways related to history and social sciences.
- **Research and Professional Development**:

- Stay updated with current trends in history education and historiography through continuous professional development.
- Attend workshops, seminars, and conferences to enhance teaching strategies and content knowledge.
- Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and curriculum development.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
