**Job Summary**

As a Drayage and OTR Dispatcher, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the movement of freight for both local port drayage and long-haul OTR operations. You will work closely with drivers, brokers, and customers to ensure timely, compliant, and cost-effective transportation solutions.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Schedule and dispatch drivers for drayage and OTR deliveries and pickups.
- Communicate with drivers regarding load details, route information, and delivery instructions.
- Monitor shipments to ensure on-time pickup and delivery.
- Handle issues as they arise, such as delays, accidents, or driver concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of loads, driver hours, and compliance documentation.
- Coordinate with port terminals, warehouses, and customers for efficient freight handling.
- Maximize fleet utilization and reduce deadhead miles.
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
- Use dispatch software (e.g., McLeod, TMW, TruckLogics) to manage load assignments and driver communication.

**Requirements**:

- 2+ years of experience dispatching in drayage and/or OTR freight.
- Knowledge of port and rail yard operations, especially [name of nearby ports if applicable].
- Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations and driver HOS rules.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in dispatch software and Microsoft Office.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
