Job Overview

We are currently seeking an Associate Attorney to join our esteemed legal firm. As an integral member of our team, your primary role will involve meeting with clients to assess their case requirements. Additionally, you will be responsible for drafting legal documents such as contracts, appeals, and other relevant materials. Working closely with our Senior Attorney, you will assist with various cases and conduct thorough research.

Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to present persuasive arguments in court are essential for this role. Moreover, you will be expected to provide clients with expert legal advice and guidance on a wide range of proceedings. As an Associate Attorney, your reliability, integrity, and ability to handle high-pressure situations will be crucial to success in this position.

A comprehensive understanding of District and High Court legislation is necessary to fulfill the job responsibilities effectively. Having prior work experience with 1-3 PQEs in the legal sector will give you a distinct advantage in this role. Having a keen interest in litigation across various courts, forums, and tribunals in Delhi and Mumbai. Must have impressive drafting and research abilities. Work offered will range from Trial Courts (Civil & Criminal), High Court to Supreme Court.

***Responsibilities**:

- You are engaging in effective communication with clients to understand their case requirements comprehensively and legal needs.
- Conducting extensive and meticulous research to gather pertinent information and support legal arguments.
- Collaborating with the Senior Attorney to draft accurate and well-crafted legal reports, contracts, appeals, and other essential documents.
- Representing clients in court hearings and trials, ensuring the delivery of compelling arguments and the protection of their interests.
- Safeguarding the confidentiality of sensitive information obtained during legal proceedings.
- Maintaining detailed records of the time dedicated to each case to facilitate accurate billing and efficient case management.
- Providing valuable assistance to the Senior Attorney in navigating various cases and legal procedures.
- Compiling and preparing arbitration papers, as well as other legal documents necessary for proceedings.
- Advocating for clients by negotiating favorable legal contract terms on their behalf.
- Presenting persuasive arguments and counterarguments in court to support clients' positions effectively.
- Cultivating and nurturing enduring relationships with clients based on trust, professionalism, and exceptional service.
- Keeping clients informed about the progress of their cases and providing regular updates on developments.
- Offering knowledgeable consultations to clients, educating them on the potential consequences of legal proceedings, and guiding them in making informed decisions.
- Staying updated with the latest changes in legislation to ensure accurate and current legal advice and representation.

- Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related field
- Holding a valid license and certification to practice law
- Having prior work experience with 1-3 PQE in the legal sector will give you a distinct advantage in this role
