India is a key strategic growth market for Blackmores, and we launched our India operations in October 2021 on Amazon India and have since expanded our distribution across several online and offline partners such as Flipkart, Tata 1 MG, Apollo Pharmacy, Guardian Pharmacy, Noble Plus, Frank Ross, Trust Pharmacy and Wellness Forever.
As we build our sales team, we have a newly created position for an **Area Sales Representative **to join the small but growing team, responsible for the entire West Region market in India **based out of Mumbai **. This is a frontline sales role on the road, visiting our Supermarket and Pharmacy customers, to build our brand presence in market and achieve positive sales growth.
In this autonomous role, you’re free to plan your day to ensure you meet your customers in your region. You will also manage large key accounts and be responsible for new business development.

**Responsibilities include**:
- Build and manage the strategic partnerships with key customers to drive education, recommendation and advocacy for our products to achieve sales targets
- Effectively manage the sales territory, retailer relationships whilst implementing marketing and promotion plans
- Effective routine planning whilst ensuring customer call frequency is met
**Who are you?**
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, business management or sales & marketing
- 5+ years’ experience in a sales role in the Pharmacy or Consumer Goods Industry
- Excellent negotiation and sales skills, with a flair for building valuable and authentic relationships
- Must be based in Mumbai (and able to travel), and be fully vaccinated against covid 19
Please note this is an individual contributor regional field sales role, with no direct reports and the expectation to be in field travelling to customers. As we build our team, we do not have a dedicated office in India, but you will have access to a channel partner office if needed
