**Job Spec: System Administrator (AWS)**

**Location**: Remote

**Position Summary**

Key Responsibilities
- Catastrophe Model Deployment: Deploy and manage catastrophe models and risk assessment tools in production environments, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance.
- OasisLMF Platform Administration: Configure, maintain, and optimize OasisLMF platform instances and integrate with our broader modelling ecosystem.
- AWS Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and manage our AWS cloud infrastructure supporting model deployment, including EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS, and other relevant services.
- Modeling Pipeline Automation: Build and maintain automation workflows for model validation, testing, deployment, and monitoring to ensure consistent, reliable outputs.
- CI/CD Implementation: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless integration and deployment of catastrophe models and supporting infrastructure.
- Model Monitoring: Implement comprehensive monitoring systems to track model performance, detect anomalies, and ensure accuracy of risk assessments.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure all deployed models and infrastructure adhere to security best practices and compliance requirements relevant to financial and insurance sectors.
- Documentation: Create and maintain thorough documentation for model deployment processes, infrastructure configurations, and operational procedures.
- Performance Optimization: Tune model deployment architecture to optimize for both accuracy and processing speed, particularly for computationally intensive catastrophe models.
- Disaster Recovery: Design and implement robust disaster recovery procedures for model deployment infrastructure.
- Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, risk modelers, and engineering teams to streamline the model lifecycle from development to production.
- Client Delivery Support: Support the delivery of model outputs and insights to clients, ensuring technical aspects of client-facing systems function reliably.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure management, with strong focus on AWS services
- Demonstrable experience deploying and managing models or analytical tools in production environments
- Proficiency with AWS services, particularly EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, ECS
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with CI/CD tools (e.g.,, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline)
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK
- Experience with scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or similar
- Understanding of security requirements for handling sensitive data in financial or insurance contexts
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Preferred Experience
- Experience with OasisLMF or similar catastrophe modeling platforms
- Knowledge of risk modeling concepts, particularly for natural catastrophes or climate risks
- Experience working in insurance, reinsurance, or financial services sectors

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
