Job Title: Purchase Executive

Location: Nadarganj, Lucknow

**About the Company**: Established in 1964, it’s a manufacturers and suppliers of mild steel drums and barrels. Types of drums it produces such as - Lightweight drums, Epoxy coated drums and Open mouth drums or as per customer demands used for storage and transportation requirements for items such as - petroleum products, lubricating oils, chemicals & pharmaceutical products.

Experience Level: 2 years

**Salary**: Up to 25000 INR per month

**Responsibilities**:
1. Vendor Management:

- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with potential suppliers.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.

2. Purchase Planning:

- Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to meet production requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with various departments to forecast future demands.

3. Cost Negotiation:

- Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers to achieve cost savings.
- Analyze and compare supplier proposals to make informed purchasing decisions.

4. Quality Assurance:

- Work closely with the quality control team to ensure that purchased products meet the required standards.
- Conduct regular supplier audits to assess performance and compliance.

5. Documentation:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of purchases, pricing, and delivery information.
- Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies.

6. Market Research:

- Stay informed about market trends, new products, and potential suppliers.
- Conduct market research to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

**Requirements**:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

2. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Purchase Executive in a manufacturing environment.

3. Strong negotiation and communication skills.

4. Proven ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with suppliers.

5. Familiarity with procurement software and tools.

6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

7. Detail-oriented and highly organized.

8. Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
