About the Company:
Omnimedia Publications India Pvt. Ltd is looking for a veteran Senior Journalist and manager to its brand Print & digital publication dedicated to Renewable & Power Industry in B2B segment photo and video with inspirational, high-quality content. You will be tasked with working as a team of talented writers, editors, and creative professionals. With support from the head of marketing internal capabilities, and an agency partner, the Editor in Chief will oversee publication, establishing an editorial, operational, and fiscal plan for success.

**Qualifications for the position**:

- Possesses 2+ years of experience in Print & digital media and communications, ideally with experience creating or overseeing branded content
- Can command a room with seniority and expertise, serving as a trusted leader to Omnimedia publications leadership team and external partners
- Is a rigorous Journalist who upholds the highest possible standards for editorial and creative work
- Has experience leading teams with a management philosophy that inspires top-class work and fosters a healthy work culture
- Are detail-oriented and deadline focused, with a get-things-done attitude
- Has excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Has experience working with advertisers and growing a profitable website via meaningful sponsored content
- Possesses an entrepreneurial spirit: a passion for bringing new ideas to life and the work ethic to make it happen
- Has personal interest or passion for the world of photography and video

**Job responsibilities include**:

- Setting the editorial vision providing detailed guidance on the editorial approach for projects inclusive of content campaigns, social media, and a launch strategy
- Editing copy, written by reporters or features writers, to remove spelling mistakes and grammatical errors
- Should be able to write for Web & Magazine content based on material supplied by client or employer and develop unique content for websites, company web properties and newsletter, (including technical writing)
- Good in developing new ideas and writing and engaging web content & Magazine.
- Assuring web content is user-friendly and key-worded for SEO benefit.
- cropping photos and deciding where to use them for best effect and writing picture captions
- proofreading complete pages produced by other sub-editors using the main basic proofing symbols
- working to a page plan to ensure that the right stories appear in the correct place on each page
- laying out pages and, depending on the nature of the role, playing a part in page design
- Familiarity with internet marketing, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) or web development is an added advantage
- Possesses 2+ years of experience in Print & Digital media and communications, ideally with experience creating or overseeing branded content
