**Role Overview**:We’re seeking a **Field Journalist** who is passionate about storytelling, ground reporting, and public engagement. Your role will involve covering **trending topics**, interacting with people, and creating **engaging video content** that resonates with a wide audience.

A crucial part of the hiring process includes submitting a **self-recorded video** where you interact with the public on any trending topic, showcasing your reporting style and creativity.

Key Responsibilities:
**1. On-Ground Reporting & Storytelling**
- Cover **breaking news, trending topics, and human interest stories** from different locations.
- Research and identify **relevant news angles** that make your reports stand out.
- Capture **real-time events** and present them in an engaging way.

**2. Video Content Creation**
- Record **creative and engaging videos** interacting with the public, gathering opinions, and presenting facts.
- Conduct **vox pops, live interviews, and short documentary-style videos**.
- Ensure high-quality, mobile-friendly content that is **optimized for social media platforms**.

**3. Public Engagement & Interviews**
- Approach and interact with people to get **authentic, diverse perspectives** on trending issues.
- Develop engaging **question formats** to spark insightful discussions.
- Maintain a **charismatic and confident on-camera presence**.
- Communicate fluently in **English and Hindi**; knowledge of a **regional language is a plus** for better audience reach.

**4. Collaboration & Content Development**
- Work closely with editors and social media teams to **craft compelling digital stories**.
- Assist in **scriptwriting and editing** to enhance video storytelling.
- Stay updated on **social media trends** to make content timely and relevant.

**5. Accuracy & Ethical Journalism**
- Fact-check all information before publishing to **maintain credibility**.
- Ensure that all reporting follows **journalistic ethics** and guidelines.
- Adapt reporting style based on audience and platform preferences.

**Requirements**:

- **Degree/Diploma** in Journalism, Mass Communication, or relevant field (preferred).
- Strong **storytelling, public engagement, and interviewing skills**.
- **Fluency in English and Hindi**; knowledge of a **regional language is a plus**.
- Confident **on-camera presence** with excellent verbal communication.
- Ability to **shoot, edit, and optimize video content** (basic video editing is a plus).
- Willingness to **travel frequently** and meet tight deadlines.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Freelance

Pay: Up to ₹300,000.00 per year
