**Job Description: Freight Broker**

**Responsibilities**:

- Utilize existing network and develop new leads to expand client base
- Identify reputable and safe carriers for quality service
- Provide shipping quotes and book orders with carriers
- Assist in preparing carriers for loads
- Collaborate with shippers, carriers, and dispatchers for efficient logistics management
- Maintain communication on transit updates and delivery statuses
- Stay updated on freight carrier services for customer acquisition and retention

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 1+ years of freight brokerage experience in the United States
- Established network of clients with a proven track record of bringing them onboard
- Proficiency in DAT, TRUCK STOP, ITS (TMS), Macropoint, ELD and Microsoft Office Suite
- Have handled Shipments like FCL, LCL, Dry Van, Drayage, Flat Bed and Reefers.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to meet sales targets and maintain customer relationships
