**We are hiring a dedicated and detail-oriented Typist to join our publishing house.**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Type manuscripts, notes, and other written content into digital format
- Proofread and format typed content as per editorial standards
- Handle word processing tasks and file conversions
- Organize and manage digital book files
- Collaborate with editors and designers to finalize manuscripts

**Requirements**:

- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and typing software
- Minimum typing speed of 50 WPM with high accuracy
- Familiarity with formatting tools, PDF conversion, and file organization
- Knowledge of basic desktop publishing software is a plus
- Ability to handle large volumes of text and meet deadlines
- Good communication skills

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Prior experience in typing/editing for a publishing house
- Comfortable working in English and regional languages (if applicable)

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Fixed shift
