**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Install, configure, and maintain Progress databases across development, testing, and production environments.

3. Develop, implement, and manage database backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability.

4. Implement and manage database security policies and procedures to protect data from unauthorized access and breaches.

5. Diagnose and resolve database access and performance issues.

6. Plan and execute database upgrades and migrations with mínimal downtime.

7. Create and maintain detailed documentation for database configurations, processes, and procedures.

9. Ensure all database operations comply with company policies and relevant regulations.

**Qualifications**:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

2. Minimum of [X] years of experience as a Progress DBA.

3.Proficiency in Progress OpenEdge database administration.

4. Strong knowledge of database design, backup/restore, performance tuning, and security.

5. Experience with database monitoring and performance tools.

6. Familiarity with Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems.

7. Scripting skills (e.g., Shell, Perl, Python) are a plus.

8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

9. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

10. Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.

11. Progress certification is a plus.

12. Experience with cloud-based database solutions.

13. Knowledge of additional database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL) is an advantage.

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
